TUI France and AEGEAN join forces to make Greece the flagship summer destination


TUI France joins forces with the Greek national company AEGEAN Airlines will bring more French travelers to Greece this summer given the high demand, the tour operator announced this week on the occasion of the 20th anniversary of the partnership between the two companies.

Member of the TUI Group, TUI France aims to bring 100,000 tourists to Greece this summer, adding that it is the best-selling destination in pre-bookings for the year. The tour operator also said it expects bookings to “explode” this summer, forecasting a triple-digit increase from summer 2021. French travelers are eager to visit Athens, Crete, Kos, Rhodes and Corfusaid TUI France.

Under the agreement with AEGEAN Airlines, TUI France offers 24 airlines, 12 departure airports, seven destinations – namely Athens, Heraklion, Corfu, Rhodes, Kalamata, Kos and Larnaca (Cyprus) – and 15 Marmara clubs and Lookea.

To respond to French demand, AEGEAN increases its available seats to more than one million to Greeceup 10% compared to 2019, and operating from Charles De Gaulle airport. Thus, the Greek national airline represents 41% of TUI France seats to Greece.

For his part, the CEO of AEGEAN Dimitris Gerogiannis refers to the trust that TUI France has shown in airlines and in Greece over the past two decades.

“Through our cooperation, we have jointly served more than 3 million passengers in Greece and offered them a unique vacation experience. nearly 10 million, if we include all of our operations in France over the last 20 years. We have made it easy, comfortable and memorable for each of them to visit Greece. Our collaborators, the AEGEAN and TUI France teams did it for them.
